  • Marketplace Activity & Listings: Product details, descriptions, prices, and media related to livestock, animal breeds, feeds, veterinary medicines, and agricultural produce listed for buy or sell transactions.
  • Consultation & Recruitment Data: Inquiries, professional experience, job requirements, and applicant details submitted for agricultural consultation services or agricultural worker sourcing and recruitment.
  • Customer Support & Communications: Messages, feedback, inquiries, and support requests sent directly to our team or via in-app communication channels.

B. Information Collected via Google OAuth

When you choose to register or sign in using Google OAuth, we retrieve basic account details directly from your Google profile with your explicit authorization:

  • Google Profile Data: Your full name, primary email address, unique Google identifier, and profile picture.

C. Automatically Collected Information & App Permissions

  • Device & Usage Information: IP address, operating system, browser type, device type, unique device identifiers, app usage statistics, and crash logs.

  • Camera & Storage Access: Media access granted to upload photos of animals, agricultural products, or medical records.

D. Payment Information

Certain marketplace listings, consultation fees, or platform services require payment. All payment details are processed through secure, third-party payment providers (e.g., Mobile Money operators, banks, or payment gateways). Imani Vet Solutions does not process, store, or retain complete credit/debit card details or payment PINs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We utilize the collected information for the following operational and legal purposes:

  • Account Creation & Authentication: To establish user accounts, verify user identity, and allow secure access via Google Sign-In or password credentials.

3. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Imani Vet Solutions's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We do not use data obtained through Google OAuth to serve personalized advertisements.
  • We do not share Google user data with third parties unless necessary to provide core app functionality, comply with applicable laws, or as explicitly directed by you.
  • We do not allow human access to user data obtained via Google APIs unless explicitly authorized by you, required for security audits, or needed to comply with applicable law.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or Google account information to third parties. Information is shared strictly under the following circumstances:

  • With Platform Users & Counterparties: Information necessary to complete marketplace transactions, agricultural worker recruitment connections, or consultation bookings (e.g., seller contact info, worker profile highlights) is shared with authorized counterparties.
  • With Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors (such as cloud database providers, web hosting services, SMS gateways, and payment processors) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • For Legal Compliance: When required by court order, search warrant, subpoena, or applicable legislation under the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as a business asset under binding confidentiality terms.
